Praying for miracles...
So many reasons to pray... so many things to pray for...
v praising our sweet God for caring for every detail of our lives
v worshiping the only true God who listens to our prayers—and who answers them
v seeking His ways, plans, and best for today, tomorrow, and beyond
v confessing my failures and sins
v many friends’ health—Beth, her mother, Jon, his mother-in-law, Lindsey, Nancy, my mother, my aunties—Rosella, Chris, Edna, Charlene, and I’m sure there are more that I can’t think of right now…
v me to be a more loving, respectful, godly wife
v my life’s greatest blessing, my husband Jeff, to be refreshed in life and in the Lord… and that I may be a true blessing to him
v the completion of the adoption of our 2 beautiful girls
v Jeff & me to be awesome, Jesus-loving/living parents 24/7
v a miracle for our other 2 foster girls—that their parents will be touched and changed by the only One who can heal this family
v all our children to give their hearts to Jesus at a young age and follow Him all the days of their lives
v all our family members to know Jesus and walk with Him
v all our family members to be healthy and safe, to live and love with joy, and to make a difference in this world
v one niece’s European opportunity—and the miracle needed financially
v another niece’s safety, success, wisdom, and future as she begins her second year of college
v my sister and her family to be blessed in all ways—financially, relationships, health, hope, joy, and future—especially as they support their daughter’s education and generously give of their time, resources, energy, and hearts to others near and far
v my sister and her beautiful family to have an abundance of grace, wisdom, love, and joy as they walk the path of major change… may you each grow closer to the Lord, more reliant on Him, and more like Him—for your good and for His glory… for He loves you so
v my parents to be healthy and joyful… and my dad to play and record tons of music and my mother to enjoy her family, friends, and doing creative things… and that they will know how they are loved… and that the Lord leads their future choices
v Jeff & me to do what the Lord desires w/ our resources, our hearts, our futures, our family… everything
v the Kazakhs to know Him
v our m friends in Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Malaysia, Kyrgyzstan, the Middle East, Uzbekistan, and other places
v revival in our huge church… and a new spirit of living worship in services and in all parts of our lives
v revival in Perspectives classes
v revival in all Tyler, Texas churches… and for that matter in all Denver-area churches, North Vernon, Seymour, Columbus, Dayton, and Danville area churches
v our next President be a man after God’s own heart… a man who seeks Him and follows His ways
v Jeff & me to have a son… birth or adoption!
v all my cousins to know they are loved (if any of you read this, I am thinking of you in particular—because just now I am thinking of and am praying for each one of you, your marriages, your children, your finances, your futures, your hearts, your health, and that we’ll all be together in eternity
v our friends in Colorado to know healing, health, hope, and joy… that you may know, attend, and get plugged into the church God has for you, and that you may know the blessings of His love, as well as relationship love and friendship
v our friends in ministry to be blessed with grace and endurance to finish the race with integrity, hope, health, and joy (and with an abundance of finances from the Lord to carry out the tasks He has called you to do)
v our friends and mentors who have and who are teaching God’s truths to us to be blessed
v salvation for many we know and millions we don't
and so much more...
Prayer is so sweet, so valuable, so effective, so productive...
why don't I do it more?
